“Didn’t we have some fun though? Remember when the platform was sliding into the fire pit and I said, ‘Goodbye’ and you were like ‘NOOO WAAAY’ and I was all ‘we pretended we were going to murder you’. That was great…”
I was talking with some friends last night about video games, and they mentioned Portal. I had plans to play it for a long long time, but never had a chance to. I either forgot about it or I was just too busy.
So I finally started playing this afternoon, and just as expected, it was fantastic. It deserved such a good rating! Almost every part of the game is invulnerable – be it the plot, characters (I LOVED GlaDOS!), or settings; the only problem with the game is it was too short. I am a slow gamer, and I therefore expected playing it for at least 2 days. Meh, turns out, I finished the game in 4 hours.
The concept is the best part of the game. I have not seen any other games that are as innovatory as this one yet (maybe except for Mirror’s Edge, but… they’re different, in a sense… meh).
To sum up, it was one of the best 4 hours I have ever lived in my life. Thanks for giving so much fun to me, Portal
. Now I am anxiously waiting for Portal 2. But of course, Mirror’s Edge 2 too
P.S. Okay, fine, I admit for being lame and started playing a 2007 game in 2009. (In fact, I did not know “The cake is a lie” until yesterday), but I mean, like XKCD’s comic goes:

FPS game…ok, I don’t have anything against FPS but I suck at them. Last time I played COD on my friend’s PS3 and he was standing right in front of me and I missed him when I tried to spray him. So yeah…but I guess HALO is one exception, it’s the only FPS game that I am “ok” at.
