Honestly... I'm not sure. The flight was something like half a year ago, and my memory just isn't that good :(. But. From what I can see on the pictures, the flight departed at 1250 HKG Time, and arrived 930 YVR time. That is... 12 hours and 40 minutes? Sounds about it.

As for the feeling about which one is longer... definitely HKG-YVR, but only because I was so excited for SFO, and I didn't want to go back home when flying back from YVR.

I'm really glad you enjoyed my post, and hopefully you enjoyed Hong Kong too? Have a safe trip back!

WOW! I simply googled "how long is the flt from HKG to YVR" and your blog came up! I took this exactly flt from YVR to HKG last week and am headed home tomorrow! What a blessing to have your insight!!

Your post is IMMACUALTE!!! Thank you for sharing your thoughts and everything!

My only question is, My flight over to HKG was about 14 hours and it seems as though the way back is going to be much shorter. Did you find that is was about 10 hours from HKG to YVR and longer from YVR to HKG? I know it is due to headwinds as I work for a Domestic Airline in Seattle, WA but I was just curious.
